Joshua Menhinik I am 20 years old from the Western Cape town of Darling. After completing my final year of high school in December 2017, I have been further fulfilling my dreams, as well as furthering my knowledge working with horses over the last year and a half. From movie shoots, stunt horse riding, backing youngsters, exercising race horses and competing in mounted games to meeting incredible horse people, while travelling to Ireland this year. At each place i can say i have grown as a rider and certainly as a person. Being welcomed into the home of the o’Conners has been a highlight of my travels and it sure feels like a home away from home. I am so grateful for their input into my riding. Mounted games crept into my heart and i am very proud to be representing my country in Wales this year.
Kyle Trollip My mounted games career started in 2010 at the first ever Southern Hemisphere Champs. Since then I have competed at 2 WTCs, and been the South African Individual and Pairs champs. I have recently fractured a vertebrae whilst snowboarding, so in preparation for world’s – I am resting. I didn’t write this bio, because I’m a little bit lazy, and I also very often forget to pick flags up on the way home.

Megan Marr I’m 32 years old and am currently working as a mixed animal vet in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Did my first WTC in Canada in 2001, and have done another 4 since then. Just found out I’ve had a torn cruciate Ligament in my knee for the past 2 years, and recently tore my meniscus. I also enjoy obstacle course racing, and am busy training a pony, Gary, that will hopefully be ready for WTC in July!

Tomas Forsythe

, I’m 23 years old, previously from KZN, South Africa, but currently living in the UK. This will be my 5th time representing SA at world team champs. Games has been my absolute favourite sport basically since the moment I first bent through some poles at a pony club rally back in 2009. I’m hoping my tenth year of MGA will be a great one and I’m looking forward to catching up with old friends at this year’s worlds and to having the opportunity to compete on a team with some of my very best friends. >

Donnelly Mackenzie I am 21 years old and a fourth year student at the University of Johannesburg. I have been riding for many years, but only began competing in mounted games as a teenager. I’ve ridden in three Nations Championships in America, New Zealand and South Africa and this will be my first WTC. Last year I was placed 3rd in the National Individual Championships and 1st in the National Pairs Champs
